You cannot build something that lasts if truth is avoided, delayed, or selectively applied—even when telling the truth costs you influence, comfort, or position.
Has the effort to live pure created an unhealthy, shaming, female bashing, male judging culture. The desire to have intimate guard rails is taught in Scripture. However, we should avoid developing a culture of shaming those who struggle to manage the intimate side of their life. We should have more than one “don’t fornicate or commit adultery message.” Most young people have never heard their pastor say anything positive about sexual intimacy.
When we describe someone as “ we are saying they have a burning passion that cannot be put out. In scripture, there are several leaders that were imperfect but determined to carry out their individual assignments. They burned with a passion for God and people that made them exceptional. In this study, we will look at the passion that drove them.
