The Book of Jude

Jude was one of Jesus’ brothers. Jude knew about the amazing things Jesus said and did while He was alive. Jude knew why God had sent Jesus. Jude learned there were some teachers in the churches who were teaching people to do bad things, things which were not pleasing to God. Jude knew he had to encourage the church people to stand up for what was right. Jude wrote a letter to people who loved Jesus. Jude wanted to help the people be strong and faithful to Jesus. Jude wrote, “Dear friends, I want to remind you to keep your minds on God. Don’t listen to the words of the teachers who grumble and do what they want to do. Remember what is true about Jesus. You must pray to God and know that Jesus will help you. Think about the people who don’t know Jesus. Help them.” Jude reminded the people that God was able to protect the people and keep them strong. Jude said, “Keep yourselves in the love of God.”
