To know that my spiritual family here at the church was able to help me get through arguably my greatest personal challenge [and] public personal challenge means a lot. It allows you to redefine family and I'm at a point now where I'm so far delivered and removed that I strive to make sure that I can be that type of vessel or asset for anybody else.

Jesus' Prayer

Jesus knew that soon He would go to the cross and die. Jesus had a special supper with His disciples to tell them about the things that would happen. Jesus told His disciples to be brave. After explaining many things, Jesus prayed. Jesus began by saying, “God, the time has come. You gave Me important work to do, and I have completed it. God, allow Me to return to You now.” Next, Jesus prayed for His disciples. Jesus had taught His disciples many things and He wanted God to help the disciples continue to be strong and bold. “Father, protect them. Give them joy and keep them faithful. Show My disciples Your truth. Now, I am sending My disciples into the world to tell the truth.” Finally, Jesus prayed for all the people who believed in Him and followed Him. Jesus wanted God to help the people show God’s love to others so everyone would follow Jesus. “The people know You sent Me to the world. They love Me,” Jesus prayed. After Jesus said these things, Jesus and the disciples left the house and walked down the road to a garden.
