The Fall of Judah

Judah had some good kings, like Hezekiah and Josiah, who
followed God and obeyed Him. But Judah also had bad kings who
were not faithful to God and did evil things against God. After
many years of bad kings, God was tired of sending His messengers
and prophets to warn the people to stop their evil ways and begin
to obey God.
After King Josiah died, his son became the king, but only for a
short time. Then Josiah’s other son was made the king. He was an
evil king.
The next king was young and he disobeyed God, too. When this
king was taken away to Babylon, another brother became king.
King after king forgot about following God and chose to do evil
things. These kings didn’t listen to the prophets’ warnings, and
they continued their evil ways. God’s people became more and
more disobedient.
God was tired of the people’s bad choices, but God still cared
about the people and His temple. Even though the people made
fun of the messengers and prophets, God wanted the people to
change their ways.
But the people did not do that. They kept on doing things that
displeased God. Finally, God had had enough. He allowed His
people to be taken away from Judah. The people became servants
in Babylon and stayed in that
